Marina Letsios spent twenty-two years in car dealerships and rose to own her own stores. Today she launched AI Assist, Inc., a New York based company building AI that helps dealers prove what customers were told and close clearer deals faster.

The timing is deliberate. California's new auto retail law, SB 766, takes effect tomorrow. In March the FTC warned 97 dealer groups over pricing practices, and in April the FTC and Maryland Attorney General announced a $3.1 million civil penalty against Lindsay Automotive Group, plus customer refunds.

“Every dealer I know believes their team treats customers right. The stores that can prove it will come out ahead,” said Letsios, Founder of AI Assist. “What holds good people back is disconnected systems and no easy way to show what happened on a deal. Fix that and everyone at the table wins.”

Argus360 is an independent audit platform. Each month it contacts the store as a real customer would, by text, email, web form and, where state law allows, phone, and grades each interaction. Every compliance finding names the rule behind it, a dated record of what customers were told, and each department is scored on how it treated the customer. Argus360 is piloting now, with general availability planned for late 2026.

AiF&I is a finance and insurance platform built to shorten the wait and clarify the deal. More than half of dealers run over four separate systems in the front office alone, according to CDK's 2026 Friction Points Study. Its five AI agents help structure the deal, check compliance, show every lender's status in one view, coach the team and keep the customer informed. Staff approves everything before it is final. A dealer design partner program opens in December 2026.

“Today a deal passes through half a dozen systems that don't talk to each other, and people type the same customer information over and over,” said Nick Letsios, CEO of AI Assist, who calls both products the start of the Dealer Brain. “The goal is a store where every system knows what the others know, so the team spends its time with customers, not screens.”

Marina Letsios is the author of The Second Eden: Shaping AI with Wisdom and Conscience and Vice Chair of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association. Nick Letsios has more than thirty years in automotive retail.
